Plotistan – CJ (Chief Justice) and others got more than one plot
Nov 28th
These days plots have suddenly become a topic of discussion. Bureaucrats and generals have traditionally been the target but people have suddenly discovered that big shot journalists and senior judges are the main beneficiaries.
Some top journalists to cash in are:
Nasir Naji, Rauf Klasra, Amir Mateen, Javed Chaudhry, Hamid Mir, Nusrat Javed, Mushtaq Minhas and Mohammad Malick.
Considering the fact that the journalists mentioned above are essentially glorified blackmailers and paid exceptionally higher salaries than government officials, one really fails to understand why they are given this benefit.
Now the Judges; let me put it this way: from the top man down to any judge who matters including all judges of the supreme and high courts, they all have or will have plots allotted to them. And yes, unlike Rauf Klasras’ story in the express tribune titled “Myth busted: Chief justice also got a plot” it is not “a plot” and actually is “more than one plot”.
I would expect any journalist who wants to be taken seriously to do some research before filing a story in a newspaper. Although Mr. Rauf Klasra has exposed the CJPs (Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry) plot in Islamabad, he has not done any homework to see how many plots he actually has been allotted. It is common knowledge that the CJP was allotted a plot in “Federal Government Employees I Housing Scheme, Phase-II, Karachi”. Since Klasra used to work in The News, I don’t think he expects to be taken seriously anyway.
So now the count of the CJPs plots is, one in Islamabad and one in Karachi which is equal to two; and who know how many more in the other major cities of Pakistan.
I want a plot too, Mr. CJ, please!!! ![]()
