Child Beggars: End the Misery
Dec 3rd
Innocence. Happiness. Fun. Adventure.
These are a few words that describe the ife of a child. However, not every child is gifted to life such a life.
Fear. Pain. Torment. BEGGING.
These are the words to describe most the child population in Pakistan. This is the future of Pakistan.

How can we stop this from happening? Why is it that one child gets up from a comfortable bed, changes into freshly ironed clothing, eats a wholesome breakfast and goes to school, carrying the ambition that they will become something one day. That they will have a voice in this world that will be heard. Whereas in the same part of the city, another child wakes up to the loud sounds of cars honking and the black smoke of the buses, laying on the floor in a house that’s not constructed, carrying a bowl in their hand, wearing torn clothing, carrying an ambition that maybe they might be able to feed themselves today with the money they earn.
Taking this into perspective, it’s hard to believe that the people of Karachi and Pakistan have become so ignorant that they don’t feel the pain and torment that’s in the eyes of these children. The government and the people are all so occupied in filling their own pockets that they have become ignorant to the fact that these children have a hard time filling their stomachs for one day! That’s how our cause comes into rescue.
Hands of Hope is platform that’s focused on providing educationt to these children. It’s an initiative taken by us, university students who know how important it is to secure a kid’s future. They should be taught science, math and social studies instead of being taught various tactics to get money. Hands of Hope will be collaboring with Azad Foundation to give these children a voice, so they can stand up against the world and say that they are individuals, human being who deserve a stand.
It would be highly appreciated if each one of us takes out the time to take this cause into consideration. These hands are not for begging, they’re hands of hope. Hope for a better present. Hope for a better future. Let’s help these children by educating them, donating money not just to fill their stomachs but create a better future for them!
