RENOVATION OF OFFICE OF KWSB-ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS OFFICER IN GRADE -17

As sated by MD KWSB during one of his recent press briefing that KWSB is fastly moving towards bankruptcy.He insisted on government and
other financial institutions to come forward and help KWSB and provide funds to meet necessary expenses. But at the same time he fails to
point out how he reached this position, it is very much obvious that, it could not happen without the financial embezzlement in KWSB which
is still going on in KWSB.
A cash starving department who fails to provide basic water needs to the citizens of Karachi provides luxurious offices to its favorites in
KWSB. Previously CE Bulk renovated his offices at Karsaz at a cost of rs. 5 million and now an Asst. Accounts officer, appointed three years
ago on political grounds has been facilitated by renovating his office near CIVIC Center (KWSB Head Office). Mr.Asif Ali is also holding an
important position in a political party and hardly visits his offices but since he has the blessings of his political masters he succeeded
in obtaining this important position and being in BPS-17 he has been given facilities which he is not entitled for.
The KWSB who refuses to provide basic Medical facilities to its long served employees, has spent almost 8 lakh rupees in the name of
renovation of office and providing Office furniture amounting to Rupees 100,000. This in addition to Split Ac, Computer and allied
accessories,a dna big UPS fro the room.
The KWSB management has no justification for theses expenditures and all other permanent employees reserved the right to approach the press to disclose this practice in KWSB.
MD is once again requested to look into the matter and issue orders to stop this renovation immediately otherwise once its become public he
will face only embarrassment nothing else.
