Peshawar gets new commissioner as baboos reshuffled

Azam Khan, a Grade-20 officer of the District Management Group (DMG), was posted as secretary for sports, culture and tourism. He will also continue to hold the additional charge of the post of the managing director (MD) of the Sarhad Tourism Corporation (STC).
Anis, (PCS EGBS-19), who joined National Management College for a five-month training course in February, recently returned to Peshawar and has now replaced Azam Khan as Commissioner Peshawar.
The provincial government also transferred Muhammad Saleem Khan, director general, (Fata) disaster management authority, and posted him as secretary for planning and development (P&D) department on the post after it fell vacant after the retirement of Muhammad Ikram Khan, who has been made member of the provincial Public Service Commission (PSC).
Farah Hamid Khan, another DMG Grade-20 officer waiting posting in the establishment department, was posted as secretary for higher education as the post was vacant after the retirement of Attaur Rehman Lodhi, who was made member of the PSC.Sahibzada Fazal Amin, formerly secretary sports, culture, tourism department, was posted as secretary for Zakat and Ushr department, a notification said.
